Peter Crutchfield owner of Wildwood Designs made the beds from recycled Oregon and finished with a white wash look that took quite a bit of sanding to get the desired effect.
“This bed is quite time consuming to make because of the placement of the boards.” Says Pete. “We wanted to make a statement piece in the bedroom. Also something unique that holiday makers will see nowhere else. It does give a feeling of quality and hand craftsmanship as well as a relaxed coastal vibe.
Needless to say, the proud owners love this new design in their south coast hideaway.
Made in solid recycled Oregon with Australian Hardwood slats this bed has been finished in white. Alternatively, if you love that natural look and patina that only recycled timber gives, Wildwood Designs can finish this amazing bed in natural timber tones.
